Can I Drive with copy of FIR if Driving License is lost

Hi,



I have lost my Driving License. While I will apply for duplicate/new license it will take some time to issue new license. Till then Can I drive with a copy of my lost License alongwith copy of FIR mentioning loss of license? Is it legal and acceptable to cops in all cities?



Please help as I cant survive without driving.
